β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) is a naturally occurring biologically active nucleotide and a derivative of vitamin B3 (nicotinamide). It exists in the human body as well as in foods such as avocados, edamame and tomatoes, but its natural content is extremely low. NMN is the most direct precursor of NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide, Coenzyme I).
