  1. Anti-osteoporosis. The role of vitamin K2 is to activate matrix osteocalcin. Under the action of vitamin K2, matrix osteocalcin is activated, and many calcium binding sites are formed on the protein. This activated calcium binding site can follow up the calcium binding in the bone. Therefore, vitamin K2 has a special significance for calcium in bone fixation and osteoporosis. In addition, the Japanese study found that vitamin K2 reduced spinal fractures by 60 percent, hip fractures by 77 percent, and non-spinal fractures by 81 percent.
  2. Improve dental health. One of the main regulatory proteins in dental health is osteocalcin, a protein essential for bone metabolism that can be activated by vitamin K2.
  3. Help fight cancer. Vitamin K2 can inhibit tumor growth by negatively regulating tyrosine kinase and phosphatase activity related to cell carcinogenesis, as well as regulating regulatory factors related to cell proliferation, ultimately leading to the cell cycle of tumor cells.
