Zhongguancun “Spark” Activity of Promoting Scientific and Technological Achievements in the Field of New Materials was Successfully Held

In order to accelerate the process of transformation of scientific and technological achievements in the field of new materials, and to promote the in-depth docking of technology, capital and application scenarios.On June 27, 2025, sponsored by Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Administrative Commission of  Zhongguancun Science Park, and co-organized by Beijing Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Center, Coway International TechTrans Co., Ltd. , Zhongguancun Science City Ltd. , Beijing Wisdom Cloud Creation Technology Service Co., Ltd. (Zhongfu Merchants), and Zhongguancun Technology Manager Association,Tianjin Institute of Science and Technology Development Strategy, Tianjin Science and Technology Innovation Development Centre, Hebei Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Promotion Centre, Hebei Science and Technology Achievement Exhibition and Trading Centre co-organized the Zhongguancun “Spark” activity in the field of new materials to promote scientific and technological achievements in the Zhongguancun Venture Street successfully held.

This activity focuses on the technical application of new materials in key areas such as green low-carbon, intelligent manufacturing, biomedical, etc., and adopts the diversified and integrated form of “policy interpretation + project roadshow + exhibition + docking and exchange” to systematically display the scientific and technological achievements of new materials and the path of industrialization. The site set up a centralized project display area, 20 scientific and technological achievements focused on the debut, and the organization of eight outstanding projects to carry out roadshows,It covers various directions including carbon fibre, nanocellulose, phase change energy storage, sodium-ion battery, nanomaterials, intelligent management of new materials supply chain, intelligent high temperature reaction experiments, and AI-driven materials R&D platform.

During the roadshow, the teams from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei made on-site promotions of their innovations around technological innovation, market prospects, transformation paths, etc., covering a number of cutting-edge directions of new materials. The activity fully demonstrated the good foundation and cooperation potential of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei in terms of technological synergy, resource sharing and results interoperability. The event was characterized by a warm atmosphere, with active exchanges between participating enterprises and project teams, and in-depth docking around technology landing, industrial cooperation, follow-up support, etc., with some projects having reached preliminary cooperation intentions.

This seminar is a positive exploration of the ZGC “Spark” activity to build a specialized supply and demand docking platform around key industries. In the next step, Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Administrative Commission of  Zhongguancun Science Park will continue to expand the service scenarios of “Spark” activities, focus on scientific and technological achievements in key areas, strengthen the linkage of resources from various parties, promote the accelerated transformation of high-level scientific and technological achievements, and provide support for the construction of an efficient and synergistic scientific and technological innovation ecology.
