Global Innovation Network Symposium & Project Roadshow Successfully Held Online
From March 22 to 23, 2021, the Global Innovation Network Symposium & Project Roadshow was held virtually. Co-organized by Coway International TechTrans Co., Ltd., the Global Open Innovation Network (OWIN), Wallonia Export-Investment Agency (AWEX) of Belgium, Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) of Australia, the Jia shan International Industry Technology Accelerator, and the CAST Enterprise Innovation Service Center, the event aimed to deepen overseas companies’ understanding of the Chinese market, attract cutting-edge foreign technologies to China, and accelerate international technology transfer. Attendees included high-potential project teams from Australia and Belgium, as well as Chinese entrepreneurs in related fields.
On March 22th, the symposium commenced with an opening address by Amaelle Guillemoteau, President of the OWIN. Philippe Lachapelle from AWEX highlighted Wallonia’s investment advantages and called for strengthened collaboration with Chinese partners, followed by Julie-Anne Nichols of TIQ, who showcased Queensland’s strengths in high-tech R&D and industry-academia innovation ecosystems. Li Taohong of Coway shared the company’s achievements in technology transfer and pledged to enhance commercialization expertise.
Keynote speeches began with Li Guangming from the Zhongguancun Intellectual Property Promotion Bureau outlining China’s IP advancements, while Huang Dehai of Beijing Qingyihua IP Agency addressed intellectual property challenges for foreign enterprises. Representing the Jiashan Accelerator, Li Taohong emphasized initiatives to bridge global technologies with Chinese industrial and investor networks, reinforcing the event’s focus on fostering cross-border innovation partnerships.
On March 23th, eight cutting-edge overseas projects pitched their innovations, including TekA (Medical Devices), demonstrated technical advantages and market competitiveness of its medical equipment. Precision AI (Custom Surgical Tools), AI-driven spatial computing for personalized surgical solutions, targeting China entry. Resapp Health (Remote Diagnostics), Cough-based respiratory diagnosis software backed by clinical trials. Andman7 (Patient Empowerment): Health platform showcasing data-driven patient engagement solutions. MoodMe (AI Analytics), provided SaaS-based video analysis. Lambda -X (Optical Systems), offered space-grade optical instruments. Radiomics (Medical Imaging), presented non-invasive tissue analysis software. Nolysis (Aerospace Simulation), had cost - reducing software for aerospace companies.
The event exemplified Coway’s commitment to fostering global tech transfer and cross-border collaboration. Numerous Chinese investors and industry leaders expressed strong interest in the showcased projects. Coway will continue facilitating matchmaking to accelerate project commercialization and localization.
