"Innovation China" Tech Roadshow Advances Industrial Energy Efficiency and Green Development: Overseas Industrial Energy Conservation Special Session Held

On October 19th, the "Innovation China" Tech Roadshow—Overseas Industrial Energy Efficiency was held online. The event was hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and organized by the CAST Enterprise Innovation Service Center, Coway International TechTrans Co., Ltd., the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Innovation and Entrepreneurship Financing Platform (V-Next), and the Tsinghua University R&D Experiment Service Base. The session was promoted across multimedia platforms, including "Innovation China," "Home of Science and Technology Workers," "Innovation China," "Frontiers of Enterprise Innovation," "Coway International," and the "Spark-V Next" platform.

In recent years, green economy and green industries have emerged as key global research priorities. As a major manufacturing nation, China has prioritized advancing green manufacturing to develop its green economy and expand green industries, aligning with its national strategy to build a manufacturing powerhouse. Industrial energy conservation and environmental protection are poised to become critical global trends. At this roadshow, six overseas industrial energy-saving projects from the United States, Australia, Israel, Switzerland, Finland, and Austria were showcased online respectively, Clean Energy Gas Production and Processing, Zero-Carbon Pioneer: Development and Application of Double-Rotor Expander Differential Pressure Power Generation Equipment, Precision Jet Forming Technology, Industrial Applications of Solar Thermal Technology, Data-Driven Platform for Optimizing Renewable Energy Microgrids, Smart Grid Solutions.

Technical and investment experts, including Tang Xiaojun from the New Technology Application Research Office of the Electric Power System Research Institute at the China Electric Power Research Institute, Yang Chengsheng (Investment Director of the State Grid E-Commerce Innovation Center), Ding Yiting (Investment Director of Inno Angel Fund), Zhang Jie (Investment and Financing Department, Zhongtai Securities Guangdong), and Cao Xu (Project Director of Coway International TechTrans Co., Ltd.), provided online feedback to representatives of the six companies. They evaluated the feasibility of technology implementation and market potential. Follow-up offline exchanges and collaborations were conducted after the event.
