Technology Transfer Seminar with Italian South Tyrolean Delegation

30th July 2019, Italian South Tyrolean Delegation visited Coway, and the two sides held a seminar with the topic of technology transfer. This seminar also invited the experts from the Institute of Public Safety of Tsinghua University, researchers of the Institute of Sports Science of the State Sports General Administration, managers of the China Merchants Investment Management Group Co., Ltd. and the head of Skinow (Beijing) Sports Culture Co., Ltd. Ms Zhu Ling, Coway’s Vice President, hosted this seminar, Dr. Tan Hongxin, Coway’s President, and Ms Li Taohong, Assistant President, attended the seminar and delivered speeches.                                                          

There are ten people in Italian South Tyrolean Delegation, professor Paolo Lugli (Rector of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano); Dr. Michl Ebner (President of the Athesia Group of the  Chamber of Commerce Bozen-Bolzano); Professor Roland Psenner (EURAC Research Bozen-Bolzano); Dr. Vito Zingerle (Director of Department Innovation and Research of Autonomous Province of Bolzano); Dr. Andreas Winkler (Head of Sales of NOI Tech Park); Dr. SebastianMayrg Ondter (Executor of Tech Transfer Alpine, NOI Techpark); Dr. VinicioBiasi (CEO of Microgate); Dr. Stefano Nicolussi Rossi (CEO of Vita); Dr. Michael Mayr (Head of Asia Pacific, Technoalpin); Dr. Gettofried Rottensteiner (CEO of Skipp).        

The first part of the seminar was a speech from Dr. Tan Hongxin, who actively introduced the company’s overview, successful experience in technology transfer and resource channels in China. The second part was to let the foreign party know more about China’s intellectual property laws and better solve the problem of intellectual property rights. Ms. Li Taohong gave a detailed introduction to the current domestic intellectual property legislation system and protection status, as well as Coway’s practical experience in intellectual property protection. the Italian side was very interested in this part and actively explored and consulted after the seminar.

This seminar was very successful. After this, the two sides conducted active discussions and exchanges, which brought Coway and the South Tyrolean technology circle closer. The two sides looked forward to further cooperation and jointly contributed to the preparations for the Winter Olympics project.
